Environmental Science - Climate

Environmental Science - Climate is a semester long course offered to students that have successfully completed biology and may be taken concurrently with chemistry and/or physics. Environmental Science-Climate is a study of the earth, weather, climate and energy resources with an emphasis on sustainability. The course will involve applying the scientific method to learn about the environment, but learning how the environment works is only the first step. Identifying problems, finding solutions and then learning how to implement those solutions are all critical aspects of achieving a sustainable future. Labs and projects will be conducted continuously and throughout each unit. Good attendance and daily participation are crucial to student's success in this course.
