Howell Marketing II Class Helps LACASA Get Ready for Holidays

Students at the LACASA store. We have hit the time of year in which LACASA is doing their holiday store flip! LACASA is a donation and retail center located in Howell, Michigan. Their holiday flip is when their store turns into a magical winter wonderland and a good majority of the items being sold become Christmas related. The holiday store flip is a very exciting time but it also comes with a lot of work. Stella Shinn, Lauren Doot, and Kayla Forsyth were all very excited to be able to help with this cause!

This past Friday, November 4, 2022, the Public Relations team from Howell High School’s Marketing II class assisted in this process. The girls were greeted with a very warm and appreciative welcome from all of the LACASA employees! They arrived at LACASA at 10:00am and worked to get the store ready until the end of their school day, at 2:20pm. The girls went through many shelves, boxes of ornaments, and Christmas decorations. Their job was to put price tags on every item they worked with and organize the decorations.

It was another successful way of serving the community from the Public Relations team! With their help, people of all incomes can come into LACASA Collection and afford Christmas decorations during the financially hard times of the holidays.

In addition to their help at LACASA, the Public Relations team helped the DNR over at Brighton Recreational Area on November 2nd, and November 3rd in effort to make their state parks a cleaner, safer environment!
