9/16/16 – Howell High School’s annual College and Technical Education Night will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria and commons area. The event is open to all Howell High School students and parents. More than 50 colleges, universities, technical schools and the armed forces have already signed up to attend.
“Our annual College Night provides students with an opportunity to interact with representatives from various post-secondary institutions. These representatives can answer questions about the application process, admission requirements, academic
programs and costs,” said Jason Schrock, Howell High School principal. “It is a wonderful opportunity for students and their parents to learn about the higher education options available to them. I strongly encourage all of our students and parents to consider attending.”
New this year, students can complete a student profile at www.gotocollegefairs.com before College Night. Once the student completes their profile, they will receive a QR code that college representatives will be able to scan, giving them access to the student’s profile on the spot. This will allow for more meaningful conservations between students and college representatives.
Colleges are still sending in their reservations for Howell High School’s College and Technical Education Night;
however school officials expect about 60 to 70 post-secondary institutions to be present.
