Howell High School Marketing II Students Volunteer at Gleaners Food Bank

9/25/2023 - Howell High School Marketing II Public Relations team members recently volunteered at Gleaners Food Bank. The students, Aliya Farrand, Isabella Hodge, and Owen White, assisted with preparations for the organization’s Fresh Market, which is held each Tuesday. During the Fresh Market, families receive eggs, milk, and a variety of fresh produce. This drive-up distribution program allows families to receive the groceries placed right in the trunk of their cars.
The students selected Gleaners Food Bank as the organization has a strong history of supporting Livingston County Families in need. Monthly, Gleaners Community Food Bank hosts a drive-up food distribution in the Bus Lot between Highlander Way Middle School and the Howell High School Freshman Campus.
The students enjoyed volunteering at Gleaners Food Bank and were thankful for the opportunity to give back to their community.
