Dear Howell High School Families,
I hope this letter finds each of you enjoying a fun and relaxing summer vacation. I am writing today to share some exciting news with you. The Howell Public Schools Board of Education has approved the appointment of Mrs. Lisa O’Connor as a new assistant principal at Howell High School. Mrs. O’Connor will replace Dr. Sharp who retired at the end of the school year.
Many of you know Mrs. O’Connor as she as served as our dean of students for the past four years. In this time she has worked to build positive relationships with our students, staff, and parents. Mrs. O’Connor has also been instrumental in promoting a college and career going atmosphere among our students by leading College Application Week, the College Cash Campaign and the Decision Day Celebration at Howell High School.
Please join me in welcoming Mrs. O’Connor to her new role at Howell High School. I know she will be a great fit as one of our assistant principals.
