Following a week filled with school spirit, fundraising and 14 seniors living at Howell High School, the totals are in, and the school’s Senior Survivor fundraiser has raised an unprecedented $78,000.35.

Howell High School has been named one of the top 50 semi-finalists in the 2017 Vans Custom Culture Art Competition.

On Sunday, April 23, Howell High School’s popular Senior Survivor fundraiser returns for the tenth year of competition and fundraising.

For the second year in a row, a Howell High School student has claimed top honors in the Lansing Art Gallery's Art Scholarship Alert (ASA). Senior Kaden Staley was selected as the winner of the ASA’s Sara Jane Venable Scholarship.

This March the Howell High School Performing Arts Department will travel through the wardrobe and into the mysterious land of Narnia when it presents “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.”

Recently, Major General David Bassett, United States Army program executive officer for ground combat systems visited Howell High School.

Howell High School junior Hogan Taylor has been named the first place winner in the 11th-grade category in the 29th annual North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) Poster Contest.

As an English Language Learner tutor, Martha Mendoza supports Howell High School students who are learning English as a second language.

The Howell High School Performing Arts Department will present “Disney’s High School Musical” Nov. 17-19 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.

The Howell High School Leadership class will honor local Veterans for their service to our country Friday, Nov. 11 during its annual Veterans Day Program.

Mark Leahy, Howell High School Construction Trades instructor was named the 2016-2017 Howell Public Schools Teacher of the Year.

The Howell High School band has been invited to substitute for the University of Michigan Hockey Band on Oct. 22.

To continue to grow and foster a college-going culture, Howell High School will celebrate Michigan College Month this October.

Howell High School’s annual College and Technical Education Night will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria and commons area.
